Spiru Haret University, through USH Pro Business Entrepreneurial Center, organized on May 3, 2019, the seminar “How to develop the creative-innovative thinking of students and in this way to increase the quality in education and research”, an event in which we had the honor to host the visit of the delegation of Kasetsart University, considered to be the largest university in Thailand and a leader in education and research in the agro-industrial field.

 

During the event, academics from the two universities attended and discussed topics related to new challenges in the global education system, the involvement of universities in the development of creativity and innovation, both at students and teachers level; the role of the bioeconomy, ecology and digitalisation; the role of entrepreneurial universities.

Kasetsart University gave an extensive presentation of its agro-industrial profile, and Spiru Haret University presented its own innovation ecosystem, created around USH Pro Business, showing also its involvement through Inter-Bio (association of organic product chains) and the two clusters Bio Danubius and Bio Concept Prahova Valley, in the sustainable development of agriculture.
